Shock Testing

Quanta Laboratories runs mechanical shock testing on eight dedicated shock systems, with additional shaker-based shock capability. Shocks reach up to 8,000 g, the largest table is 36 in x 36 in, and the guided drop tester stands 15 ft tall. Pulse shapes include half sine, square wave, saw tooth, and shock response spectrum.

Purpose

Provide a degree of confidence that a product can withstand the mechanical shocks encountered in handling, transportation and service environments.
